And, bigger habitat means much more freedom, oxygen and comfort for your fishes. But, the thickness mark also depends on the height and the width of the tank. For instance, an average 30 gallon glass aquarium, which is 36 1/4 inches long, 12 5/8 inches wide and 16 ¾ inches high, has to feature the walls, which should be 6 mm thick.
